#ThankYou

#ThankYou

November 27, 2014

Pen in HandDearest CLC Community,

Writing today with a note of sincere appreciation.  On November 1, 2011 when CoffeeLunchCoffee.com was born, it was my expectation I would blog for 30 days and wipe my hands of the whole notion of continuous self-improvement in the area of networking.  When asked the question, “do you have any tips for getting started with networking?” I would be able to quickly point the individual to the posts and move on to other topics.  Of course, that’s not what happened.

Three years, 246 blog posts, one book, one book-on-the-way and thousands of community members later, together, we have started a MOVEMENT.  Through our actions, we are conveying, every day, the importance of establishing and nurturing long-term, mutually beneficial, meaningful, authentic connections around the world.  Though the mere words are not enough to express my gratitude, from the bottom of my heart I say, “THANK YOU” (I’ll be tweeting #ThankYou all day!)!!!

In particular, on this Thanksgiving Day, I want to give an extra #ThankYou shout out to my idea generators and guest contributors to the November 2014 NaNoWriMo marathon.  It’s been a challenging month for my family and me; truly, without the support of these individuals my traditional daily posts for November would not have happened.  It feels remarkably wonderful to know I am surrounded by a supportive, loving, caring Network for which I am eternally grateful.  I am linking their posts to each of their names (in alphabetical order) – please take a moment to go back and read their amazing insights:  Rania Anderson, Angela Connelly, Brad Douglas, Logan Freeman, Susan Freeman, Don Gallagher, David Glickman, Seth Godin, Dodie Jacobi, Mic Johnson, Sandeep Kotwal, Cynthia Kyriazis, Mary Lucas, Karah Maloley, Michele Markey, Drew Meyerowich, Cindy Olson, Kyle Scott (blog coming soon!) and DJ Waldow.  And, of course, a #ThankYou all of its own to my editor-in-chief and partner in life, Marc Hammer, who gave me the go ahead for each and every post and cheered me on all along the way.

Hoping you will all send a #ThankYou to someone (or many someones) today who has made a difference in your life over the last year.

Wishing you all a meaningful Thanksgiving!  And, #ThankYOU!

Cheers!

Alana
